Causey\, management relations researcher and expert\, will share behind-the-scence trials and tribulations of  iconic musicians she met through the years like: The Temptations (Otis Williams)\, Chuck Jackson\, Smokey Robinson\, Berry Gordy\, Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers\, Herman and the Hermits (Peter Noone)\, The Dells (Chuck Barksdale)\, Little Richard\, Danny and the Juniors (Joe Terrynova) Ben E. King\, Anna & Gwen Gordy\, the Moonglows (Harvey Fuqua)\, Arlene Smith of the Chantels\, Gladys Horton of the Marvelettes and Mary Wilson of the Supremes. She will surprise and inform as she sheds light on what was incredibly poor labor management edured by these beloved and great performers. \n\nDr. Katherine W. Causey is currently chair and associate professor of the Division of Business and Economic Development at a local four-year institution in Memphis.  She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with concentrations in management and international business. \n\nDr. Causeys' work experience includes managerial and governmental accounting\, grant writer/administrator\, project manager\, research analyst\, adjudicator and mediator.  Dr. Causey is retired from the U.S. Army Reserves\, with 23 years of service in Logistics. She has served two wars\, Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Iraq/Noble Eagle\, receiving numerous awards and commendation medals. She researched poor labor management relations in the music industry during the 40s through the 70s\; organizational behavior within the music industry\, and occupational stress indicators of performers. She is a former member of R&B Foundation\, Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame and Doo-Wop Society in Los Angeles and current member of the Recording Academy (The Grammy's).  She continues to visit various venues across the United States and spend countless with iconic artists as she complies her book of memoirs.
