DESCRIPTION:VETERAN'S APPRECIATION LUNCHEON\n\nForest Hill Community Outreach to host first annual veteran luncheon at Memphis Botanic Garden\n\n\n\nMemphis\, TN November 1\, 2016 - Each November\, the Memphis community proudly holds remembrances to honor those who have served our country. This year\, Forest Hill Community Outreach will host their first annual veteran's luncheon.\n\n\n\nThe "Champions of Freedom Appreciation Luncheon\," will be held at the Memphis Botanical Gardens on Nov 10 at 11:30am. Local Memphis veterans are invited to attend the luncheon\, which is an annual outreach event to show gratitude and acknowledge the local veterans who helped serve and protect our freedom. Admission is FREE and open to local veterans and their families. This experience will pay honor to those locally who served in the military\, as well as provide them with the opportunity to connect with others\, so they can share their experiences and their devotion to our country.\n\n\n\nThe "Champions of Freedom" event will include a catered lunch by Simply Delicious\, musical performance by Josh Threlkeld\, a featured guest speaker\, and memorabilia exhibit. Following the luncheon\, the gardens will be open to all our guests.\n\n\n\nSeating is limited to the first 75 guests. Veterans can register by calling Community Outreach Coordinator\, Ashley Parker at (901) 382-1000.\n\n\n\nForest Hill Community Outreach is a program of Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park. Established in 2015\, the program provides unique and healing experiences for the Memphis community.
