DESCRIPTION:NEWS\n\n \n\n \n\nNovember 12\, 2013\n\n \n\nCONTACT:  Campus Director Deborah Bowman \n\n(901) 213-1681 / dbowman@national-college.edu \n\n \n\n \n\nNational College of Business & Technology in Bartlett to Hold Veterans Workshop and Job Fair \n\nEvent is free and open to veterans and their families \n\n \n\nBARTLETT\, TN   The Bartlett Campus of National College of Business & Technology (www.national-college.edu\; 901-213-1681)\, located at 5760 Stage Road\, will host a workshop and job fair exclusively for veterans and their families on Tuesday\, Nov. 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.  \n\n \n\nPenny Patterson of ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) will present a workshop with information on how to market yourself when job-hunting\, veteran-focused job search advice\, and r sum  tips. \n\n \n\nRepresentatives from Hero to Hired Jobs\, Job Connection Education Program\, Veterans Employment for the State of TN Dept. of Labor & Workforce Development\, Department of Veterans Affairs\, and Veterans Placement Services will also be available to provide resources at the job fair.\n\n \n\nContact career center director Sammie Hawkins at (901) 213-1681 or at sqhawkins@national-college.edu for more information.\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Bartlett Campus has been serving the area since 2007. Students may choose from among eight associate degree and seven diploma programs. Lifetime career counseling and placement assistance is provided to all National College of Business & Technology students and graduates.\n\n \n\nFounded in 1886\, National College of Business & Technology and American National University are dedicated to the training and education of men and women for a full life and a successful career in a number of fields in business\, computers\, and health care.
