Would you like to help the children of Youth Villages have a fun and exciting Christmas Party?
There are approximately 100 children at the Youth Villages, Bartlett Campus. Chamber members have made it their tradition since 1993 to reach out to these children by purchasing and wrapping gifts and providing a Christmas party for the residents. Those who provide Christmas for these children are truly heroes in their eyes.  Heroes can be individuals or businesses can sponsor one or several youth.  Can you help?
If you choose to participate ..

• Mark your Calendar for the Party! Wednesday, December 12, 2012
• Fax / email the attached form indicating your preferences -
• Look for a fax/email with the child’s information on the Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving
• Shop for your child; Gift Budget is $75.00 - $85.00 per child. Do NOT go over $85- it may seem unimportant to us, but it is important to the kids that gifts are equitable! Try to buy everything on the list.  Remember volume vs brand.
• Wrap the gifts and firmly attach a tag with the child’s name and cottage clearly marked.
• Bring your wrapped gifts to the Party on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Youth Villages between 1:30 and 2:00 OR to the Chamber by Friday December 7th.
• At the appropriate time, you may join  your child while they open presents! Share some special time with them! (FYI: Some of these children will not react the way you feel they should.  Remember, these children are here because they do not fit in with normal society. Please be patient with them!)
• If you will be unable to attend the party, drop off your wrapped gift by Friday, December tth at the Chamber office. Remember, your child will be waiting; Don’t disappoint them!

• If your child is discharged and the gifts cannot be given to them. The Chamber staff will try to match you up to a new child that has similar requests
• If we receive more new admits than we have heroes, we will need last-minute heroes
• If a hero does not show up at the party or Youth Villages receives a new child that day, we will need extra gifts (wrapped, mark on each package appropriate gender and age)
• Youth Villages is always in need of extra items, such as socks, white T-shirts and underwear, so you may bring extra “stock” items that will be given to Youth Villages to use as needed
