Dr. Gwendolyn Sutton, President
Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT)

Dr. Sutton assumed the role as President of TCAT Memphis in May 2023 after serving as Vice President since 2017. The Bartlett Campus of TCAT is within her purview. TCAT's mission is to provide individuals with technical skills needed for the 21st Century. Training includes such programs as welding, heavy equipment diesel mechanics, auto technology, aviation maintenance and CNC Machining, The impetus for the Bartlett Campus was the growing demand for CNC machinist for the local medical device industry. That, and other high paying skillsets, are the primary emphasis of the Bartlett facility. .
