Tennessee Green Star Partnership Workshop (West TN)
Tennessee Green Star Partnership Workshop
(formerly known as the Tennessee Pollution Prevention Partnership or TP3)
Thursday, August 8th, 2013
9am-2pm
at Shelby Farms Visitor Center
**Free breakfast & lunch included**
The workshop is for businesses, industries, organizations, and governments interested in learning about the new Tennessee Green Star Partnership criteria, how to meet the requirements, and how to advance through the program (no households or k-12).
The workshops are an excellent venue for promoting membership outreach and mentoring in sustainable practices, and encouraging networking and information transfer. This year, we are also highlighting E3-Economy, Energy, Environment, an important EPA initiative that is a technical assistance framework helping communities, manufacturers, and manufacturing supply chains adapt and thrive in today's green economy. We will also have a presentation on Green Globes, an ANSI approved certification tool for high performance building design and management.
Benefits of Tennessee Green Star Partnership include:
- Inclusion in a “Green Business Directory”
- Proactive promotion of your company by the Office of Sustainable Practices
- Use of the Tennessee Green Star Partnership logo on your own website and promotional materials, as well as logoed displays, such as storefront identification or a flag for your facility
- Educational opportunities, such as webinars and workshops at a discounted or free rate
