Job Description
The City of Bartlett is hiring Sports Officials to officiate BPRD athletic events including baseball, basketball, softball and kickball. Responsible adult will manage players and spectators on the field/court. Ensure a safe environment for participants by inspecting the playing area before the games. Will maintain standards of play and ensure all game rules are observed. Will run coaches meetings before games and attend required training sessions and demonstrate proficiency in understanding of rules of officiating.

Successful candidate will call all games with complete honesty and integrity. Other duties as assigned. Officials will maintain proper, professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Previous paid experience as an official preferred. American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certifications highly preferred, or must obtain within 3 months of hire as a condition of continued employment. Bartlett resident preferred, but not required but must reside in TN.  Will work in a non-smoking work environment.
